KUALA LUMPUR - The dialogue and engagement sessions with young Malaysians to gather suggestions for the 2050 National Transformation (TN50) will expand to rural areas, says Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin.
“I just came back from meeting youths from Sabah and Sarawak,” he said. “I will be meeting Felda youths from all over the nation to discuss their ideas and aspirations for the country,” he told reporters before revealing the 10 Prasarana aspirations in an LRT train.
Khairy said over 80,000 ideas were received for the TN50 initiative.
“We have engaged with nearly 1.5 million youths in the country, face-to-face and online,” he said.
“And, then Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak will be announcing the TN50 policy on Malaysia Day next year.”
