MUAR - The Johor government, through Digital Johor, will help Felda realise its efforts to provide high-speed Internet connectivity as well as to modernise farming methods at all settlements statewide, said Datuk Seri Khaled Nordin (pic).
Digital Johor is a state government agency under Kumpulan Prasarana Rakyat Johor (KPRJ), which has been tasked to improve digital connectivity in the state.
According to the Johor Mentri Besar, the state government would ensure that not a single Felda settlement is left out from Johor's digital super highway.
"Felda and its settlers must have 21st-century connectivity, as it is an important factor to ensure its progress.
"At the same time, the second and third generations of Felda must also utilise 21st century knowledge and skills," said Khaled.
He said this during an event with the people of Pagoh, which was also attended by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, at Felda Maokil here on Friday (Feb 9).
