A TEENAGE girl was molested by a stranger at a bookstore in Seremban, Harian Metro reported.
The 13-year-old student had gone to the bookstore with her mother when a man came up to her, a source said.
It is believed that the man lifted her skirt in the incident at about 1pm on Monday.
“He touched her private parts, causing her to cry,” said the source, adding that the man fled immediately.
The girl’s mother asked the book store management for the CCTV recording and was stunned to see what had happened to her daughter.
The mother lodged a police report at the Seremban police station.
Seremban Deputy OCPD Supt Abdul Rahim Daud confirmed receiving the report, saying police were now tracking down the man.
> The daily also reported that police have summoned four students from a school in Penang who are believed to have beaten up the youngest brother of actress Almy Nadia.
George Town OCPD Asst Comm Mior Faridalatrash Wahid said the students, aged between 16 and 17, were asked to give their statements following a report lodged by the actress’ family.
The police are expected to call all the students involved, including the victim, to give further explanation.
